1# -- AutoMod Installation
->Go to
https://www.phpbb.com/mods/automod/, download latest AutoMod package to your computer.
->Unzip the AutoMod package, you should see the folder structure as below.
->Upload all the contents under 'root' folder to your forum system root directory. For example, if your forum URL is http://www.mysite.com/forum, the contents should be placed at http://www.mysite.com/forum/... Overwrite folders when uploading them by FTP client.
NOTE: Creat mobiquo directory for support Tapatalk MOD
->Run the install script. For example, if your forum URL is http://www.mysite.com/forum, you need to open http://www.mysite.com/forum/install in your browser to run the install script.
->Make sure 'Install' is selected for 'Action', 'Ignore' is selected for 'Version Select'. Click 'Submit'
->Click 'Yes' to confirm the installation.
->AutoMod has been successfully installed in your forum now. Ignore the warning.
2# -- Installation with Push Notification Support
->Push Notification Support in phpBB requires installation of AutoMod as pre-requisite.
NOTE: Download Plug-in from: http://tapatalk.com/activate_tapatalk.php?plugin=phpbb#plugin_update
->Login to forum Admin CP and switch to 'AUTOMOD' tab. In 'Upload MOD' section, browse to latest Tapatalk plugin and click 'Upload'
->In 'No installed MODs detected' section, you'll see the Tapatalk in list, click 'Install' to continue.
->Ignore the warning, as 3.0.x matches 3.0.12, click 'Install' to continue.
->Normally it will be done here with New files creation and system files updating. However external installation is required and please click the highlight link to continue.
NOTE: This Step, Some time you must Rename the install Directory and Re-Log in to Admin User again for Make next step
->In external installation page, just click 'Submit' to continue.
->Click 'Yes' to continue.
->Installation is done here, you can click 'Admin index' link to top right to return to Admin CP.
->You'll get a .MODS tab when you did not have any other mod installed with AUTOMOD. Tapatalk settings is located in this tab. Make sure you set up the 'Tapatalk API Key', and you can find the key in Tapatalk forum owner area in your forum section.
3# -- Installation without Push notification Support (Legacy Installation Steps)
->Download the zip package of Tapatalk Plugin for phpBB to your computer.
->Unzip the package to your desktop and find the 'mobiquo' directory inside 'root/' path. (For plugin version older than v3.4.0, there is only one directory as 'mobiquo/' and that's it.)
->Upload the entire 'mobiquo' directory and only this directory to your forum system root directory. For example, if your forum URL is http://www.mysite.com/forum, it should be placed at http://www.mysite.com/forum/mobiquo/.
->Go to Administration Control Panel, Choose "STYLES", then "Templates"
->For each installed template, locate the overall_header.html, locate the following HTML tag:

4# -- Update Tapatalk Plugin
->Login to forum Admin CP and switch to AUTOMOD tab. Located to Tapatalk in Installed MODs list and click 'Uninstall'
->Click 'Uninstall' to continue.
->Normally it should be done with uninstall here and click 'Return to AutoMOD' to continue.
->In 'Upload MOD' section, browse to latest tapatalk package and click 'Upload' to continue.
->In 'No installed MODs detected' section, you'll see the tapatalk in list, click 'install' to continue.
->Ignore the warning, as 3.0.x matches 3.0.12, click 'Install' to continue.
->Normally it will be done here with New files creation and system files updating. However external installation is required and please click the highlight link to continue.
->In external installation page, you will be set in Update action, just click 'Submit' to continue.
->Click 'Yes' to continue.
->Now the update is completed. You'll see the latest version in Tapatalk Settings. Make sure you set up the 'Tapatalk API Key', and you can find the key in Tapatalk forum owner area in your forum section.
5# -- Uninstall Tapatalk
->Login to forum Admin CP first. Switch to browser URL address field, enter URL {your forum root url}/mobiquo_install.php and go. You'll open Tapatalk Uninstall page. Click 'Submit' to continue.
->Click 'Yes' to continue.
->Normally you'll get Success page here and click 'Admin index' on top right and switch to AUTOMOD tab in your forum Admin CP.
->Located Tapatalk in Installed MODs and click 'Uninstall' to continue.
->Click 'Uninstall' to continue.
->Normally you'll get MOD uninstalled page here and the uninstall is done.
