How to install Windows 7 Dual boot with Ubuntu 13.10?

Introduction

To install Ubuntu 13.10 you must have at least 10GB of free space and download iso file of ubuntu to your Local Drive. FIRST!-- You must install windows 7 completed, Then install Ubuntu 13.10 follow instructions below:

How to create a bootable USB Drive on Windows 7?

To run Ubuntu from a USB stick, the first thing you need to do is insert a USB stick with at least 2GB of free space into your PC.
The easiest way to put Ubuntu onto your stick is to use the USB installer provided at pendrivelinux.com. You’ll need to download and install and follow the instructions.

Step by Step to Creating

STEP--1 Download Pen Drive Linux's USB Installer and Select Ubuntu Desktop Edition from the dropdown list.
STEP--2 Click 'Browse' and open the downloaded ISO file.
STEP--3 Choose the USB drive and click 'Create'.
The installer must perform on Drive: 1)Create syslinux MBR -- Existing MBR will be Overwritten! 2)Create UUI Lable -- Existing Lable will be Overwritten! 3)Install Ubuntu on Drive NOTE: Please make sure your have USB on location drive
Congratulation!-- Now your a bootable USB Drive've been created

 

How to run Ubuntu on USB Drive? Step by Step to installing

STEP--1 Using the USB Drive Most newer computers can start up from a USB stick. You should see a welcome screen prompting you to choose your language and giving you the option to either install Ubuntu or try it from the USB. If your computer does not automatically do this, you might need to change the device from which the computer starts up to the USB. You can usually do this by watching for a message appearing before Windows starts. You should be invited to change the boot device. Once you’ve selected that option, follow the instructions on screen.
Tip: You might be able to press ‘F12’ or ‘Escape’ while your computer is starting up to change your boot device order.
Depending on your computer and how your USB key was formatted, you should see an entry for ‘removable drive’ or ‘USB media’. Move this to the top of the list to force the computer to start from USB rather than the hard disk. Save your changes and continue.

STEP--2 Choose your preferred language and click on ‘Try Ubuntu’.

STEP--3 Your live desktop should appear. Have a look around!
STEP--4 When you’re ready to install Ubuntu, double-click on the icon on your desktop: ’Install Ubuntu 13.10’. and Start process to installing up to your requirements again.
